Lotuss Rimbayu lotus store

Lotus’s Malaysia has officially opened its newest superstore and mall, Lotus’s Rimbayu, marking a major milestone for the retailer. The much-anticipated shopping and dining destination opened its doors to the public on 11 December 2024, following a year of preparation since its groundbreaking ceremony in December 2023. The single-storey facility, covering 6,000 square meters, is located within the IJM Rimbayu township in the southern part of the Klang Valley.

Lotus’s Rimbayu features an extensive selection of over 10,000 products, both local and imported, making it a major new addition to the retail landscape in the area. The superstore’s offerings go beyond just groceries, providing a range of other services, including food and beverage outlets. Customers can enjoy a variety of dining options, such as Kopiholic, BMS Organics, My Mom’s Chicken Rice, Mixue, Gigi Coffee, Empire Sushi, Happy Potato, and more. The venue has been designed as a place for residents and visitors to gather, with the aim of fostering a sense of community and connectivity, according to the management of Lotus’s Malaysia.

The retail giant has long envisioned its stores as more than just places to shop. Its goal is to create inclusive environments where people feel welcomed and can connect with one another. Lotus’s Rimbayu is strategically located within the commercial hub of the township, making it easily accessible via four major highways. It is well-connected to key areas in the Klang Valley, including Kuala Lumpur, Subang, Petaling Jaya, Damansara, Puchong, and Shah Alam, making it a convenient destination for both locals and visitors from surrounding areas.

The opening of Lotus’s Rimbayu is a significant step in the company’s ongoing expansion efforts, marking the retailer’s 70th outlet in Malaysia. As part of the celebration, the company has made it clear that it is committed to making a positive impact in the communities where it operates. Lotus’s Malaysia is continuing its partnership with the Food Aid Foundation, contributing to food security through the distribution of surplus food from its stores to those in need.

In line with its commitment to creating a memorable shopping experience, Lotus’s Rimbayu is offering a wide range of promotional activities for customers. These include free printed photos with a minimum spend of RM20 in the store, a chance to meet and greet PAW Patrol characters Chase and Marshall on launch day, and daily opportunities to win Lotus’s Own Brand products with a minimum spend of RM80. From 11 to 15 December, customers will also have the chance to receive exclusive tote bags, participate in a ring toss game to win gift vouchers, and enjoy free food and beverage samples.

In addition to these offers, the store has extended special perks to My Lotus’s loyalty members. For example, members can earn seven times the usual loyalty points on weekends throughout December, and enjoy discounts of up to RM6 on future purchases. The store is also running a promotion where five lucky My Lotus’s members will win 70x loyalty points each. New My Lotus’s members have a chance to win even bigger prizes, such as a ten-gram Poh Kong gold bar or RM500 worth of Lotus’s e-vouchers.

The opening celebrations continue with various family-friendly activities, including exclusive PAW Patrol-themed art and craft sessions, daily colouring activities, and promotional offers from participating mall tenants. There will also be car roadshows showcasing models from Chery, including the Omoda 5 and Tiggo 7, adding an additional layer of excitement for visitors.
