Samsung Expands Circle to Search AI to More Galaxy Devices

Samsung Galaxy A series Circle to Search update

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced the extension of its AI-driven search feature, Circle to Search, to select models in its Galaxy A series, marking another significant step in the company’s strategy to democratize mobile AI across its product lineup. This development highlights the ongoing collaboration between Samsung and Google to deliver advanced mobile technology to a broader user base.

The Circle to Search feature, which was first introduced with the Galaxy S24 series, allows users to perform contextual searches by simply circling or highlighting any text, image, or video on their screens. This intuitive tool eliminates the need to switch between apps, streamlining the search process and offering a more integrated experience. The feature has since been expanded to the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6, receiving enhancements like full-page translation, homework assistance, and QR and barcode scanning.

With the latest update, Circle to Search is now available on selected Galaxy A series smartphones and will soon be introduced to the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ tablets. The expansion to these devices is expected to bring the benefits of AI-powered search to an even wider audience, particularly those who prefer Samsung’s mid-range and tablet offerings.

Samsung’s decision to bring Circle to Search to the Galaxy A series and Tab S9 FE series reflects its broader commitment to making advanced features accessible across its entire product range, not just flagship models. The inclusion of Circle to Search on these devices leverages the larger displays and S Pen compatibility of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series, offering users a new dimension of interaction and discovery.

This initiative is part of Samsung’s broader mission to integrate AI into everyday mobile experiences, allowing users to work more efficiently, explore new creative possibilities, and enjoy richer, more personalized interactions with their devices. The partnership with Google continues to play a crucial role in these developments, reinforcing the shared vision of both companies to create open and collaborative ecosystems.
