Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today unveiled the new Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, expanding their Galaxy AI capabilities to a wider audience through wearables designed to provide comprehensive wellness experiences. These additions to Samsung’s wearables portfolio are part of their vision to enhance digital health by delivering personalized insights and tailored health experiences.
Galaxy Watch7 is focused on maximizing everyday wellness with features like personalized workouts and intelligent health monitoring. It can track over 100 workouts, provide real-time performance comparisons, and offer a comprehensive body composition analysis. Additionally, it includes advanced heart health monitoring with Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Blood Pressure (BP) capabilities.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra takes these features to the next level, offering enhanced fitness experiences and durability for extreme environments. With a Titanium Grade 4 frame and 10ATM water resistance, it is built for rigorous activities. It includes features like Multi-sports tracking, Functional Threshold Power (FTP) for cycling, and an Emergency Siren for safety.
Both models come with Samsung’s most advanced technologies, including a new AI algorithm for sleep analysis, real-time heart rate monitoring, and the ability to track advanced glycation end products (AGEs) to provide insights into metabolic health. The watches are equipped with a powerful 3nm processor for improved performance and power efficiency.
Galaxy Watch7 is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes with various color options, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra is available in a 47mm size. These watches offer seamless integration with other Galaxy devices, enabling features like intelligent suggested replies and double pinch gestures for easy control.
The Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra will be available for pre-order in Malaysia starting July 10, 2024, with general availability beginning July 24, 2024.
