AXN Asia and Tourism Malaysia have partnered to present a new travelogue, ‘Unfading Memoirs’, available from 11 July 2024 online and on television across Asia. Hosted by Justin Bratton, Selina Lo, and Erwan Heussaff, this series explores Malaysia’s rich cultural diversity and stunning landscapes.
‘Unfading Memoirs’ offers an exhilarating journey that highlights Malaysia’s cultural tapestry, adventure spots, and culinary heritage. The series captures each destination’s essence with a unique AXN-inspired narrative, presenting Malaysia as a vibrant and constantly evolving travel paradise.
George Chien, CEO of KC Global Media, emphasized Malaysia’s unique appeal, noting its historical and cultural richness and its vibrant energy. He highlighted Malaysia’s ability to offer new experiences with every visit, perfectly encapsulating its tagline, “Malaysia, Truly Asia.” Chien expressed honor in partnering with Tourism Malaysia to bring this series to life.
Travel enthusiasts will be captivated by vignettes featuring user-generated content from diverse locations such as Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Sarawak, and Sabah. The show includes experiences like sea walking, historic train rides on the Borneo Railway, hot air balloon rides, and showcases of local art and traditional crafts. Additionally, viewers can enjoy highlights of Malaysia’s extensive culinary offerings.
Mr. Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, underscored Malaysia’s vast attractions, from historical and cultural sites to natural wonders. He expressed pride in showcasing Malaysia’s charm through this unique collaboration with AXN Asia.
Viewers are also invited to join the ‘Unfading Memoirs’ Social Contest for a chance to win exclusive trips. Participants can share photos or videos of their memorable experiences in Malaysia or upload photos of their dream destinations on the AXN Asia website. The contest runs from 15 July to 25 August 2024, with winners announced on 3 September 2024.
