Infinix has unveiled its NOTE 40 Series 5G Racing Edition in Malaysia, a collaboration with BMW Designworks. This partnership merges Infinix’s advanced technology with BMW Designworks’ aesthetic excellence, offering a unique back panel design and customized UI that embody speed, style, and sophistication. The series includes the NOTE 40 5G and NOTE 40 Pro 5G models.
Design and Aesthetics
The NOTE 40 Series 5G Racing Edition features an exclusive Wings of Speed design, utilizing advanced UV transfer printing to create intricate detailing and streamlined lines. The design is crafted from premium composite materials, resulting in a glossy, lightweight finish. The phones are available in a metallic silver color with tri-color racing symbols near the camera lens. Exclusive wallpapers and a UI inspired by racetrack energy complete the racing theme.
Storage and Performance
The NOTE 40 Pro 5G offers 256GB of built-in storage and 8GB of RAM, expandable up to 16GB with Extended RAM capabilities. The NOTE 40 5G model boasts 512GB of built-in storage and 12GB of RAM, expandable up to 24GB. These features ensure ample space for apps, games, photos, and media files, providing flexibility and efficiency for multitasking and storage management.
Charging and Battery
The series introduces All-Round FastCharge 2.0 technology. The NOTE 40 Pro 5G supports 45W fast charging and 20W wireless MagCharge, while the NOTE 40 5G supports 33W fast charging and 15W wireless MagCharge. Powered by the Infinix Cheetah X1, these devices can charge up to 50% in just 31 minutes using Hyper Mode FastCharge. Both models are equipped with the Dimensity 5G 7020 processor for fast speeds and seamless multitasking.
Display and Sound
The NOTE 40 Pro 5G features a 3D-Curved AMOLED Display with 1080P resolution, 10 Bit Colour Depth, and 1300 nit peak brightness. It includes advanced 2160Hz PWM Dimming, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and is TÜV Rheinland Certified for low blue light. The NOTE 40 5G also has an AMOLED display with similar specifications. Both models offer dual speakers powered by JBL, delivering immersive audio.
Camera
The NOTE 40 Pro 5G is equipped with a 108MP sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), while the NOTE 40 5G features a 108MP autofocus (AF) camera. Both models provide advanced photography capabilities, ensuring crystal-clear images and sharp, focused shots.
Collaboration with Sharina Richie
Infinix has partnered with Sharina Richie, a professional drifter, to showcase the design elements of the NOTE 40 Series 5G Racing Edition. This collaboration combines style, innovation, and speed, with Sharina’s unique creativity reflected in her BMW E36.
Pricing and Availability
The NOTE 40 Pro 5G is priced at RM1,098 for the 256GB + 8GB configuration, while the NOTE 40 5G is priced at RM1,299 for the 512GB + 12GB configuration. Both models will be available online and offline starting June 19, 2024. Customers can enjoy a complimentary Racing Edition MagPower while stocks last.
