Foodpanda has unveiled its new, expanded range of private house label groceries under the brand name “bright.” This exclusive line, available only through foodpanda’s online grocery store pandamart, features over 200 items spanning three sub-brands: brightfarms, brightyums, and brightspots.
Brightfarms offers a variety of fresh produce, while brightyums includes pantry staples, ready-to-eat meals, snacks, and beverages. Brightspots caters to household essentials. This comprehensive product range aims to meet the diverse needs of foodpanda’s customers across Malaysia.
The introduction of the bright product range builds on the success of foodpanda’s previous house brand, brightfields, which debuted in 2021. Initially, brightfields offered a modest selection of pantry essentials, such as mixed nuts, tissues, and mineral water. Over time, the range expanded to include fresh fruits like lemons and apples, as well as cleaning products like wet wipes.
Products under the bright label are directly sourced from suppliers, allowing foodpanda to pass on cost savings to customers. This direct procurement results in competitive pricing, with savings of up to 25% compared to non-house branded products. Additionally, foodpanda maintains strict quality control throughout the manufacturing process to ensure consistent standards.
The launch of bright aligns with foodpanda’s strategic efforts to become the leading platform for online grocery shopping in Malaysia. As consumers become increasingly price-sensitive, bright aims to provide high-quality products at affordable prices, delivered within an hour, enhancing convenience for customers.
