In a recent assessment by AV-TEST, an independent evaluator of cybersecurity products, Kaspersky VPN has not only secured an ‘Approved’ certificate but has also significantly outperformed its past metrics, marking it as a powerhouse in the VPN market. The evaluation revealed a remarkable 355% increase in upload speeds for international connections over last year, showcasing a leap in efficiency for users worldwide.

AV-TEST’s annual review examines various aspects of VPN performance, including connection stability, speed, encryption strength, and the privacy protections offered to users. This year, Kaspersky VPN demonstrated notable improvements across all fronts, with special commendations for its enhanced stability and high-speed performance. The results from this year’s tests showed that for international connections, latency improved by 3%, while local connections saw a 24% decrease in latency and more than 20% improvements in both upload and download speeds.

Apart from speed and efficiency, Kaspersky’s VPN service boasts one of the largest server networks in the industry, with 102 locations across 83 countries. This extensive range allows users to tailor their VPN usage to a variety of online activities, from streaming and torrenting to secure browsing. The addition of the Double VPN feature further enhances user privacy by routing data through two servers, adding an extra layer of security.

The testing also highlighted the robust suite of features that Kaspersky VPN offers. This includes the implementation of advanced protocols like WireGuard, OpenVPN, and Catapult Hydra, which are pivotal for users seeking a customizable VPN experience. The recent inclusion of WireGuard, an open-source protocol, underscores Kaspersky’s commitment to enhancing transparency and reliability in its offerings.

Furthermore, the VPN’s capabilities in DNS and IP leak prevention, along with a reliable Kill Switch, fortify the privacy of sensitive user data across various operating systems, including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. These features are critical for users who prioritize the security of their personal and professional information.
