Yes 5G-powered Ramadan Bazaar

As the proud telco sponsor of the #TechMeToBazaar Ramadan Bazaar in Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), Yes 5G by YTL Communications recently launched the first-ever Yes 5G powered Ramadan Bazaar together with the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), Kuala Lumpur Pasar Malam Management Association (PMKL) and Tech Hunter. Visitors can now experience firsthand the smooth connectivity and fast speeds of Yes 5G while enjoying all that the bazaar has to offer this festive season.

As the bazaar is a fully 5G-covered area, bazaar goers can stop by at any two Yes 5G booths located within the Ramadan bazaar space to browse, try and purchase Yes’ various 5G plans – the cheapest and fastest beyond unlimited 5G + 4G mobile plans in Malaysia. Booth visitors will be able to get connected instantly by purchasing a 5G SIM and activating their chosen mobile plan on the MyYes app through a few simple steps.

“We are proud to be bringing Malaysians a first of its kind, fully-digital Ramadan bazaar experience. This bazaar is officially a Yes 5G Zone, bringing 5G connectivity to one of the most engaged activities this festive season. In line with our mission to enable 5G for All, both bazaar vendors and customers alike will have access to seamless connectivity, fast internet speeds and ultra-low latency through Yes 5G. We welcome all to visit our Yes booths located within the bazaar, to easily kickstart their 5G experience powered by Yes,” said Wing K. Lee, Chief Executive Officer at YTL Communications.

“We are happy to be partnering Tech Hunter in this Ramadan Bazaar to continue our efforts in driving digital transformation among Malaysians especially among the local communities of Ramadan bazaar sellers and visitors. We chose this Ramadan bazaar as one of our grassroot engagements because it’s one of the easiest ways for consumers to physically experience a fully digital environment from shopping to browsing to connecting with people. We will continue to push our marketing efforts in enabling Malaysians to adopt and convert to 5G with us and to drive the digital economy forward,” added Wing.

Visitors to the TTDI Ramadan bazaar will get to enjoy a monthly RM20 off for the first 6 months of full billing cycle when they port in with any Yes 5G Infinite Postpaid Plan, ranging from as low as RM38/month for unlimited 4G and 5G, with uncapped speed and data. Those who are looking to upgrade their home broadband internet with 5G WiFi can sign up for the Raya Family Bundle Promo of Yes Wireless Fibre 5G at RM74/month (RRP: RM148) and two Infinite Basic postpaid plans at RM58/month, totalling up to only RM190/month (RRP: RM264). For bazaar goers who wish to try out Yes 5G for the first time, they can stop by at the Yes 5G booth to experience & enjoy the first and only wireless fibre 5G WiFi internet in Malaysia for free.
