Unique Dome Ring Design and Frosting Processing

Weigh only 449g and slim as 5.9mm, its magnesium alloy frame makes the tablet lighter and more durable, making it the most lightweight 11-inch tablet available in HUAWEI. HUAWEI is also showing off its new Frosting Processing technique on the rear cover of the new MatePad Pro to create a metallic sheen. The surface is silken-smooth, wear- and fingerprint-resistant. The new MatePad Pro comes with a dome ring camera design, which was first used on the HUAWEI Mate Series smartphones.

Higher Productivity and Improved Compatibility with New Keyboard and Upgraded HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd Generation)

When paired with the detachable HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard and the upgraded HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd Generation), the tablet is endowed with PC-level office and creative capabilities. To further improve the tablet’s productivity features, HUAWEI unveiled a new detachable Smart Magnetic Keyboard, which supports three modes: laptop form, detachable form, and studio form that you can use in various scenarios, including work, study, entertainment, etc.

  1. Laptop form: By magnetically pairing the keyboard with Bluetooth, the tablet can function as a laptop, generating a traditional PC-like experience. The keyboard can also be wirelessly charged via such connection.
  2. Detachable form: After physically separated from the tablet, the keyboard can still wirelessly connect with the tablet. The stand can be detached from the keyboard and used independently. This allows users to continue their work even when they are confined in limited spaces, like on a train where the tray table may be at an awkward angle to type on.
  3. Studio form: The stand supports 120° to 165° angle adjustment and offers as stable support as possible at all angles.

The upgraded HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd Generation) comes in a new white colour and a new finish. Its body is coated with silicone polymer resin, which is comfortable to grip and wear-resistant. Thanks to the upgraded Take Snippet feature of the stylus, instead of only being able to capture content on a page once at a time, users are now able to continue screen capping page after page, even when jumping between different websites and apps.

Furthermore, HUAWEI MatePad Pro 11 is the first device to support Huawei Notes. The note-taking app comes with powerful editing capabilities that integrate multiple editing and type-setting tools. It also comes with numerous digital paper types and brushes for users to choose from. Huawei has continued to develop exciting tablets year after year, and this year’s innovative features are no exception.

Go Beyond Work Desk, Multitask Like a Pro

Huawei has been putting effort into helping boost user productivity with its tablets by creating easy-to-use features. The brand-new HUAWEI MatePad Pro 11 comes with numerous upgraded features, such as App Multiplier and Multi-Window , to make multi-tasking more efficient. It allows users to access Huawei’s native apps, such as the Gallery, in landscape mode. The Multi-window has been upgraded to support one-tap interaction. When an app takes up the full screen, the users just need to slide their finger to the upper left corner to split the screen and slide to the upper right corner to bring up an App Bubble. Currently, the tablet is capable of running up to four concurrent tasks with Multi-Window, including two split windows and two App Bubbles.

HUAWEI AppGallery offers an abundance of app choices for HUAWEI MatePad 11 Pro users to level up their productivity and content creation experience by leveraging the Multi-Window feature. Users can be working on Mojing Paint designs and doing research using Petal Search while viewing tutorial videos via TikTok over the mini floating window concurrently. The App Multiplier feature enables dual-window display within an app simultaneously, allowing users to compare products and prices on a shopping app or read articles from a news portal. Users can watch “Lazada Live” with the Lazada app on one side of the screen and compare the prices on the other side of the screen concurrently to find the better deal available. Beyond Lazada, apps that support the feature include AirAsia Super App, Easybook, The Star Malaysia and more.
