Starting from today until 14 February 2022, Malaysians with 5G compatible phones can now sign up for the Free YES FT5G Prepaid Discover SIM Pack will be able to experience the fifth generation of wireless mobile technology, delivering higher data speeds, ultra low latency, more reliable coverage, massive network capacity, and a more uniform user experience to users, it said.
YES FT5G Discover Plan offers the following:
- Free unlimited 5G data
- 10Gb 4G data
- Free, unlimited calls and SMS to YES numbers
- Chargeable calls and SMS to other networks
- 30 days validity
How to sign up for the free YES FT5G Prepaid Discover SIM Pack :
- Customers can sign up for the free YES FT5G Prepaid Discover SIM Pack on the YES website (link) or via the MyYes App from 10 January – 14 February 2022.
- The SIM card will be delivered to them at no extra charge.
- Activate free SIM Pack on a 5G compatible phone and complete activation via eKYC for verification purposes.

Current 5G coverage areas include Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and parts of Kuala Lumpur City Centre, with plans to rapidly expand to all major cities by end-2022.
