Apple released today the iOS 13.3, iPadOS 13.3, macOS Catalina 10.15.2, tvOS 13.3, and watchOS 6.1.1 software updates for supported iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Apple Watch devices.

The iOS 13.3, iPadOS 13.3, macOS Catalina 10.15.2, tvOS 13.3, and watchOS 6.1.1 software updates are now available with various improvements, new features, and lots of security fixes. Users can install the new software versions as usual via OTA (Over-the-Air) updates on their supported devices.

These new releases promise various assorted enhancements, including the ability to disable Memoji Stickers from the keyboard settings in iOS and iPadOS, new Communication Limits section in the Screen Time feature in iOS and iPadOS, as well as support for Lightning, USB, and NFC FIDO2 security keys in the Safari web browser.

New features in the iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 updates include new parental controls that provide more communication limits over who your children can call, messages, or FaceTime, along with the ability to let parents manage the contacts that appear on their children’s devices.

The Apple News app received a new layout with Apple News+ stories from The Wall Street Journal and other leading newspapers, the ability to dislike stories, support for English and French languages in Canada, and support for continuing reading with links to related stories or more stories from the same publication.

Moreover, the Photos app now allows the creation of a new video clip when trimming a video, the Safari web browser now supports NFC, as well as USB and Lightning FIDO2-compliant security keys, and the Mail app now correctly downloads new messages, no longer prevents users from deleting messages in Gmail accounts, and correctly displays characters in messages and fixes duplicated sent messages in Exchange accounts.

Other resolved issues in iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 include a fix for an issue where the cursor may not move after long-pressing the space bar, an issue causing screenshots to appear blurry when they are sent via Messages, an issue where cropping or using Markup on screenshots may not save to Photos, as well as an issue where Voice Memos recordings may not be able to be shares with other audio apps.

Also fixed is an issue preventing the Dark Mode from turning off when Smart Invert was enabled, an issue where the Mobile Data setting may incorrectly show as off, an issue where the missed call badge on the Phone app may not clear, and an issue where some wireless chargers may charge more slowly than expected.
