Samsung Galaxy S11 Leaks in 5K Renders

Samsung is expected to announce the all-new Galaxy S11 in February, but a new set of 5K renders and concept video provide us with an early look at what the South Korean’s new flagship device is expected to bring to the market.

The new information, published by OnLeaks and 91Mobiles, indicate that the hole punch will be moved from the top right corner to the center a la Galaxy Note10. The screen will measure 6.7 inches (presumably this is the S11+ version), and overall the device will measure 161.9 x 73.7 x 7.8mm.

In pure Samsung style, Galaxy S11 will use a glass back and a metal frame, but the biggest change takes place in the camera department.

By the looks of things, Samsung will use no less than five different cameras, so in addition to the three that we already have on existing devices, the company will add a 3D ToF sensor plus a fifth one whose purpose is yet to be determined.

Three different models

Samsung Galaxy S11 is expected to land in three different versions with new names. First, there will be the Galaxy S11e with a 6.3-inch or 6.4-inch display, and then, the Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11 Pro will use 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch screens, respectively.

Samsung could thus use a naming approach similar to Apple’s on the new-generation, although it goes without saying that this may backfire given its rivalry with the American firm.

Galaxy S11 will most likely use 8GB RAM and offer at least 128GB storage, but there’s a chance a 512GB version will also be released. The display is also rumored to boast 120Hz refresh rate.

It goes without saying that these specifications are yet to be confirmed, so a certain amount of skepticism is definitely recommended for the time being.
