I remember seeing this concept on an episode in ZDTV early 2000's. Nice to see it in fruition after almost 2 decades.
i don't think people gonna buy a $3000+ TV without investing a couple hundreds for a better pair of speakers. A vibrating panel is also not something to be excited about
vibrating screen… can't wait to see for the replacement screens in the future from all the consumers who bought this tv…

The real question is, does it burn in like the LG panels? I was told that Sony uses their own chipset to drive the panels, and has not had the same problem as LG with burning in. Is that true?
so, basically, it does have speakers, but they're not your conventional speakers
I like the concept since as you mentioned, the ideal place for a center speaker to be is unfortunately also the ideal place for the screen to be.
