  1. Life finds a way? Must go faster? Do you think they'll have that on the tour? I'm always on the lookout for a future ex-Mrs. Malcolm? Scientists were so interested in whether or not you could, that you forgot to ask if you should. That one.

  2. But, but, if it's a BIG bottleneck, wouldn't that actually make it a small bottleneck, because really it wouldn't be a bottleneck at all, since if its so big, it won't be a problem, right?

  3. I did run my laptop with the external gpu thing you showed. Worked really well. Very, very occasional crash, like once a month. And the bottleneck was almost always loading in textures and models. Any time you had loading, like in games actually having streaming textures and LOD's, that's when it would show if you did something like a fast flyby or whatever. Otherwise the performance would be just awesome.

That said, there is something I think you guys have not tried. I ran across pcie to pci adapters, and also the inverse. Cap that goodness? ;).
In one instance, fail0verflow got pcie over rs232 working :P. Massive hoops, but the pcie protocol is apparantly incredibly robust ;).
