Donald Trump Says Apple Won’t Be Granted Tariff Relief on Mac Pro Parts Made in China: ‘Make Them in The USA, No Tariffs!’

In a tweet, U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that Apple is not going to be granted tariff exemptions or reduction on Mac Pro elements made in China.

Earlier this month, Apple requested the Trump administration to exclude parts for the brand new Mac Pro and numerous equipment just like the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad from being topic to a 25 % tariff on Chinese imports, in accordance with filings with the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.


In all of its exclusion requests, Apple indicated that “there are no other sources for this proprietary, Apple-designed component.”
