TM claims it has the Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) has reiterated that the company has the highest code of conduct in corporate governance and integrity, and undergoes continuous improvement while adhering to industry best practices.
“We are committed to maintaining the highest degree of integrity, transparency and accountability in the conduct of our business and operations,” it said in a statement.
TM said the open tender for the Rakan Unifi contract took place in January 2018 and the evaluation process ended in April.
The Board of Directors approved the contract awards in its sitting on April 24, 2018 and a total of 19 contractors — 13 for Peninsular Malaysia including Opcom Cables Sdn Bhd, and three each for Sabah and Sarawak — were awarded the Rakan Unifi contracts.
