Microsoft’s new data once again confirms that the Windows 10 adoption is improving every single month at expense of Windows 7 operating system. A data offered by Microsoft indicates that the Windows 10 has now reached 48 percent market share and it’s likely that the operating system market share will continue to improve given that Windows 7 is projected to reach the end of support in January 2020.

While Windows 10 is going, Windows 7 is collapsing, something the two analytics companies StatCounter and NetMarketShare are claiming since a couple of months. Windows 10 operating system market share has improved gradually in the last 12 months and the Windows 10 will secure at least 50 percent share before the summers.

It’s likely that the same pace will be maintained as Microsoft will soon begin rolling out Windows 10 Spring Creators Update. The number of users upgrading to Windows 10 is likely to increase when Microsoft launches the Spring Creators Update next month, which means that new and significant drop in the market share of Windows 7 is likely to be recorded.
