Anime lands on dimsum through exclusive regional partner Ani-One

(Petaling Jaya, April 7) Home grown subscription video-on-demand, dimsum, continues to expand its content offering today with the addition of new Japanese animation content partner, Ani-One.

The partnership announcement was made at the Toys, Anime, Games & Comic Con (TAGCC) event, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre. dimsum is proud to be the first regional partner of Ani-One, an anime channel featuring popular Japanese animated movies and series from some of the most in-demand action-thrilling titles.

dimsum subscribers can now watch Infini-T Force, HIMOUTO! UMARUCHAN, HIMOUTO! UMARUCHAN R, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma – The Second Plate, OVERLORD 2, Tales of Zestitia the X, Saga of Tanya The Evil, ALL OUT!! and more.

Infini-T Force is a crossover anime featuring four main superheroes Gatchaman, Casshan, Hurricane Polymar and Tekkaman; Himouto! Umaru-chan is a story about an extremely layabout high-school girl; Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma follows a boy in his struggle to become the best chef; OVERLORD is a dark fantasy that begins when a popular online game quietly shuts down one day; Tales of Zestitia the X follows the transformation of a young human into a powerful “Shepherd”; and Saga of Tanya The Evil, a battle between a reincarnated young soldier and a self-proclaimed god.

Among them, Himouto! Umaru-chan won the “Best Rookie Actress” while Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma won the “Best Actor in a Leading Role” at the 10th Seiyu Awards. Other award-winning series include “Light Novel Series” OVERLORD in the 2016 Sugoi Japan Award.
