Maxis Bhd has teamed up with Malaysia Digital Economy Corp’s (MDec) Internet of things (IoT) solution providers to further strengthen the IoT ecosystem for businesses by offering innovative solutions.
Under the collaboration, Maxis will leveraging on its IoT solutions, with the backing of its 4G network.
“With Maxis’ proven track record in the IoT space and expertise via our partnership with Vodafone, solution providers that collaborate with us can potentially widen their customer base. Together, we can build awareness on the benefits of IoT solutions and bridge the gap between customers’ needs and the solutions available from partners,” said Maxis’ head of business solutions, enterprise Claire Featherstone in a statement.
Maxis’ IoT offerings include mDrive, a fleet tracking solution which is used internally for its own business operations. This tracking solution enables businesses to reduce cost and promotes safer driving habits within the fleet management of a company.
