Up to 50% of data saving for social media app lovers
Now don’t worry about overspending data on your favorite social media apps. Opera is taking it one step further by adding a powerful data savings feature for Facebook, offering a rich and easy-to-use “Savings for Facebook” shortcut created in Opera Max or your Android home screen.
With just one tap, users can launch Opera Max’s Facebook web app and have the benefits of a VPN connection, data saving sessions and other settings all auto-configured to get them going and saving on Facebook data usage. With Opera Max 3.0, users can get their friends’ updates, browse news and chat through instant messaging while saving up to 50% of their data plan.
Social app-savvy users will be able to double up their usage by taking advantage of Opera Max’s data savings feature. Based on statistics from 78 million active monthly users of Opera Max, the average data savings on popular social media apps are up to 60% for Instagram, 50% for Pinterest and 40% for LINE, BBM and Zalo.
