A couple had the shock of their lives when their Uber driver was stopped and surrounded by airport limousine drivers at the Penang International Airport.
Uber is a ride-hailing app.
Debbie Wong, 32, claimed that two men with walkie-talkies demanded that she and her husband alight from the vehicle after they got into it at about 2pm outside the airport arrival hall.
“Our driver took out his camera to take pictures but they turned their backs and walked away,” she said Sunday.
The Uber driver then drove off only to find the route blocked by a limousine and several airport taxi drivers.
