Beginning from August 17 to 30, when you book a ride via your debit/credit card, Grab is offering two free Grabcar rides worth RM8 (that’s like 5km driving distance, in case you are wondering) for commuters to travel to or from the nearest Putra or Star station (except KLCC, KL Sentral and monorails).
All you need to do is:
- Step 1: Download the Grab app from the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store.
- Step 2: Book a GrabCar ride to/from any LRT (Putra or Star station)
- Step 3: Key in the promo code GRABLRT
- Step 4: And you are on the way to your station!
But if the promotion itself is not enough to tease you, here are five reasons (according to Grab) why you should Grab to your nearest LRT station.

What could be more convenient and comfortable then being picked from your door step to be dropped off at the front of the station, or vice versa?
