In conjunction with Malaysia’s 59th National Day, Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Digi) continues to spread positivity and the message of unity by calling for Malaysians to #BukaLaHati.
Through the #BukaLaHati campaign, which is in line with this year’s National Day theme of ‘#SehatiSejiwa’, Digi aims to bring Malaysians together and forge deeper connections among one another in the spirit of understanding and tolerance.
In light of this, Digi will be releasing a series of inspiring stories of Malaysians on its social media platforms from 25 August for Merdeka Day leading up to Malaysia Day on 16 September.
The campaign “started with a bang” when Digi released its Connect To Be Free video on YouTube that has already garnered close to 300,000 views with 98,000 Facebook Shares and 42,000 Likes as of 29 August.
“We hope that these heart-warming stories will inspire and remind Malaysians that this nation is not just made up of individuals who share the same country, but also the same dreams of peace and happiness. It is important that we respect and understand one another. When we #BukaLaHati and connect with each other without bias and prejudice, we will live the spirit of #SehatiSejiwa. We hope that Malaysians will be inspired by the stories we share and join us in spreading the positivity with their friends and families,” said Chan May Ling, Head of Marketing Services for Digi.
As part of the Merdeka celebrations, Digi is also giving away free Digi Prepaid Live packs to Malaysian citizens at all Digi stores nationwide from 30th August to 16th September, while stocks last.
Digi Prepaid customers who subscribe or renew their Internet Unlimited monthly plans from 30th August to 2nd September can also enjoy 59 minutes of free talk time on the house, while customers who are looking to get their hands on a new smartphone can purchase the Samsung Galaxy J3 at RM299 only with the Digi Postpaid 48 plan.
