Web hosting company Exabytes Network Sdn Bhd announced that it will partner Japanese payment gateway provider, GMO Payment Gateway Inc (GMO-PG) to service Japanese E-Commerce small medium sized entrepreneurs (SMEs) who are using Exabytes EasyStore all-in-one E-Commerce Solution.
“The E-Commerce market in South Eastern Asia is expected to grow at an annual average rate of 37.6 percent from 2013 to 2018, making it an attractive sector for Japanese merchants looking to do business in Malaysia,” said Exabytes’ Founder and CEO, Chan Kee Siak.
“This is why Exabytes has partnered with GMO-PG to provide Japanese businesses that are using the EasyStore solution to set up their online stores, to offer customers secure online credit card transactions via the Japanese GMO-PG payment gateway,” adds Chan.
GMO-PG has initiated its entry into Malaysia by establishing its Malaysian arm, GMO Payment Gateway Malaysia Sdn Bhd. This is part of their foreign expansion to provide payment gateway services in South East Asia. GMO-PG services are also available in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand.
EasyStore allow SMEs to set up online store at a dedicated website and provides marketplace capabilities such as website builder, shopping cart, automated shipping calculator, product management, multiple channel selling, mobile store and social network management, search engine optimization (SEO), traffic analytics, sales reporting, web hosting with unlimited bandwidth and more.
Exabytes said that its EasyStore currently have more than 15,000 online stores.
