Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn. Bhd. announced the new partnership with a music streaming service provider, Spotify, and the availability of the new Samsung Video Hub, a portal providing consumers the access to a wide selection of on-demand movies.

Spotify, a digital music service, comes specially optimised for Samsung Smart TVs and enables users to listen to their favourite music directly from their Samsung Smart TV. Spotify offers on-demand access to over 20 million songs, with the option to search by song title, album or favorite artist. The app also automatically recommends the most popular music by region, and users can create and add new songs to playlists and subscribe to those of other members.

Spotify is now available for download on Samsung Apps for Smart TV at a monthly subscription of RM14.90. New users can visit www.spotify.com/samsung to register for a trial and experience Spotify Premium for 30 days, completely free, and it will be included for all existing Spotify Premium users with a Samsung Smart TV.

The Samsung Video Hub offers consumers the choice of purchasing or renting a wide selection of on-demand movies – from current blockbusters to timeless classics and the most-talked-about TV series produced by major Hollywood studios including Walt Disney Pictures and Dreamworks as well as local content.

Users can stream or download a video on Samsung Video Hub and choose to watch it across multiple Samsung devices from Smart TVs to GALAXY smartphones and tablets registered with the same Samsung account.
