Malaysia-based Hotel group, Tune Hotels is collaborating with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) in a strategic marketing tie-up to offer special room rates at Tune Hotel Downtown Kuala Lumpur and Tune Hotel Ipoh specially targeted at passengers using KTM’s highly popular Electric Train Service (ETS) between the two cities.

Guests need only key in special promo codes ‘KTMIPOH’ and ‘KTMKL’ to enjoy special all-inclusive room rates of only RM78 nett per night at Tune Hotel Ipoh and RM90 nett at Tune Hotel Downtown KL during weekdays when booking online at the Tune Hotels website. Weekend stays are available at RM100 nett for Ipoh and RM110 nett for Kuala Lumpur by keying the codes ‘KTMIPOH2’ and ‘KTMKL2’ respectively. All rates are inclusive of a Comfort Package that comprises air-conditioning, towels and toiletries.

Alternatively guests may walk-in and quote the promotional codes to enjoy the special rates. It will be on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability of rooms. Promotion ends 30 August 2013.

The Kuala Lumpur-Ipoh ETS service that commenced in August 2010 provides nine daily trips and these are increased to 11 trips over the weekend from Friday to Sunday. Each trip takes two hours and 20 minutes.
