Media Prima Digital, the digital arm of Media Prima Berhad, announced that it has achieved over 49 million page views and 10 million unique visitors during the recent 13th General Election in Malaysia. The statistics was accumulated from the dissolution of Parliament until the polling day through its various online portals; MyUndi, New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Harian Metro.

Over 7.9 million page views were recorded on MyUndi from 5 – 6 May 2013. At its peak, MyUndi had more than 750,000 page views per hour.  In total, the portals recorded 1.9 million unique visitors with 2.9 million visits on polling day itself.

Overall, a total of 49 million page views were recorded from the online platforms (MyUndi, New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Harian Metro) between 3 April and 6 May 2013.

MyUndi features analytical discussions by experts, information on candidates and results from the previous 12th General Election for reference.  The is also a ‘Live Streaming’ on the site that took viewers to several election ‘hotspots’, in addition to streaming numerous live programmes and providing converged news feed from New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Harian Metro.
