Fujitsu is calling Malaysian working professionals to submit their application for a scholarship to attend the Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge Program offered by the Fujitsu-Japan-America Institute of Management Science (Fujitsu-JAIMS) Foundation. The course will be conducted on-site Fujitsu’s multi-campus network that covers four different countries including Japan, Hawaii (US), Thailand, and Singapore.
The Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge Program is a 3.5 months long international leadership management certification program that is positioned as a ‘continual education’ experience for working professionals.
This year, the Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge Program scholarship stands out as it features a Knowledge Leadership Training Course by Dr. Ikujiro Nonaka – who is ranked as one of the “Top 20 Influential Business Thinkers” by the Wall Street Journal.
Scholarship winners will be granted a special opportunity to attend this life-changing leadership training to discover leadership innovations with practical wisdom through the acquisition of a broad spectrum of knowledge – including management theory, liberal arts and methodology, and applying principles learnt into specialised management projects.
This Fujitsu-JAIMS scholarship program was established in 1985 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company’s founding, and has since been offered to some 440 professionals.
Application Details
The Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge Program’s scholarship recipients will attend the learning program from 21st April 2013 to 2nd August 2013. The full scholarship will cover tuition fees, airfare and living expenses to enable winning applicants to complete the program which they will take part in four different countries.
The Fujitsu Scholarship program is now open for applications from 16 Asia-Pacific countries; with the submission deadline of 22nd October 2012.
The eligibility criteria states that the applicant must possess i) a Bachelor’s degree, ii) a minimum of 3 years’ full-time working experience and iii) a significant level of English proficiency.
